Position summary
Our Technology & Communications Services business is a leading provider of end-to-end service solutions & offers integrated civil construction, electrical, fibre, copper & radio network deployment capability. Due to ongoing project success and an increasing pipeline of wireless projects, we are seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants with experience in SAED process, mobile carrier civil design and EME compliance. This role will be located at our Gladesville, NSW office.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and project support team members, the primary objective is to undertake and coordinate all civil design and EME compliance related activities of mobile base station facilities from feasibility to detailed design stage by ensuring all tasks are completed in compliance with client design requirements, Australian Standards and relevant legislative requirements. The role will also require co-ordination and management of some field related activities during construction phase to ensure the design are implemented correctly.

  • Experience in Australia with major mobile carriers
  • Strong understanding of SAED process, FTA and Full AAA requirements for Telstra
  • Ability to undertake site inspections and capture all relevant site data & to identify site hazards
  • Prepare concept designs & work instructions for Structural, Electrical and RF engineers
  • Identify and measure near field points of interest for PRD inputs and EME mitigation solutions
  • Understanding of Ericsson equipment
  • Understanding of Safety in Design requirements
  • Ability to effectivity communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Proficient with Bluebeam Revu & Microsoft applications
  • Understanding of carrier co-location process
  • Apply Zero Harm in all activities; empathy and understanding of community concerns for EME
  • Client focused with application of commercial acumen in all matters
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills for multiple concurrent designs in progress; ability to re-arrange and interrupt work
