We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to support our new stage of growth in Chile. Based in Santiago, the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with our Major Projects team to ensure we secure the right talent to effectively deliver a new flagship project in Chile. This role is right for someone who is looking for an opportunity to impact business outcomes and work in close alignment with technical and project leaders to meet challenging goals.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience recruiting for mining projects in Chile, through various phases of execution, from engineering to construction and have excellent organization skills. They will be motivated to join a dedicated global talent acquisition team and keen to become an ambassador for our culture and brand.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  • Partner with hiring managers to determine resourcing needs, create role profiles, determine sourcing and recruitment strategies, and identify target markets.
  • Deliver an outstanding end to end recruitment process by managing and coordinating all recruitment activities, strategically sourcing candidates, screening applications to short-list, participating in interviews, conducting references/background checks and preparing and extending offers to candidates.
  • Assist with the development of best in class talent acquisition strategy and processes to ensure all hiring meets the technical as well as cultural fit with Ausenco and our core values.
  • Identify issues and create solutions for recruiting success using an efficient communication and resources.
  • Generate external talent pipeline; proactively source for high-quality candidates and maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities.
  • Actively plan and measure progress in each stage of the project with input from the Project Leadership Team.


Qualifications:

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree in Communication, Psychology, Business, Human Resources or similar field.
  • At least 8 years of recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years' end to end technical recruitment experience in an EPC/EPCM Project environment in Chile, or equivalent experience as in-house recruiter in an Engineering Firm.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and requisitions.
  • The ability to develop strong, consultative relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Advanced computer skills with innovative approaches to searching out exceptional talent including specific experience with applicant tracking systems (Oracle an asset) and social media internet searching.
  • Able to communicate fluently in English and Spanish
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to partner with and influence decision makers.
