Our Central Otago team is looking for a leader to join them as a site supervisor. Gaining exposure to a range of projects across the Otago/Southland region, your first assignment will be overseeing the delivery of the Milford Road Flood Recovery Project. Delivering on project requirements, optimizing resource and being safety focused in order to achieve high quality infrastructure on the Milford road.

About the role:

From day one you will be thrust into the undertaking of the rebuild of the Milford Road. Joining the team to construct large retaining structures, drainage upgrades and pavement realignments that provides the Milford road with future resilience. You will be collaborating together as part of an enthusiastic team who believes in delivering excellent service. Day to day you will:
  • Manage and coach a team of at least 10 members including responsibilities for training and health & safety compliance
  • Manage the processes for safety, traffic, quality, finance and resources for timely delivery of all maintenance & emergency works
  • Ensure work is completed to a high standard and all targets (productivity, quality, cost and safety) are met
  • Assist with the development of the monthly program and implementation on approval

  • Experience in roading infrastructure preferable
