Currently, we are seeking a motivated and qualified individuals to join our growing Surface Mining team for work currently available in Ontario. This position offers fly in/fly out (FIFO) and accommodations, a competitive pay structure, and benefits/pension package.
The key responsibilities of the Surface Mining Driller include but are not limited to:
- Operation of Top Hammer and DTH Drills
- Operate surface drilling equipment for mining, quarrying, and road construction projects
- Safely and efficiently execute drilling operations according to project specifications
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project goals are met
- Maintain equipment and perform routine inspections
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times
Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience surface drilling in pits, quarries, and road construction
- Proficient in operating drilling equipment, including Top Hammer and DTH Drills
- Surface Common Core (770210) and U504 Module Production Drilling is an asset
- Successful applicants will be asked to provide a valid Ontario driver's abstract or equivalent
- Must provide a valid Criminal Record Check for the purpose of obtaining a NRCAN letter of approval
