Analyze and design bridges according to codes, design criteria, and structural theories, including experience with AASHTO, AISC and ACI design codes. Transfer structural concepts and design to structural drawings using MicroStation and AutoCAD. Utilize finite element, non-linear and time-dependent construction staging calculation software: Sofistik, LUSAS, Midas, RISA, Xtract, spCol, and L-pile. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with Kiewit and/or project-specific Quality Management Plans.

- Master's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering or related.
- One year of experience as a Structural Engineer or related.
- Experience with: structural analysis/design using sofistik, midas, xtract, csi bridge, plaxis3d and flac3d; design and analysis of multi-span concrete bridges, Including segmental span-by-span, extradosed bridge, and girder bridges, with a focus on staged construction, time-dependent stresses, Strut-and-tie models, bearing design, foundations and drilled shaft design; theoretical and practical knowledge in seismic analysis and Retrofit design using innovative materials and techniques, such as fiber reinforced polymers, base isolation systems, and dampers; and Seismic structural design, analysis and shake-table testing of skewed bridge abutments, including soil, structure interaction, non-linear Time-history analysis, response spectrum seismic analysis, push-over analysis, and piers/bents design.
