The Hatch Vacation Student Program provides the opportunity to work on real projects and gain practical industry skills. We will help you through the transition, bridging the gap between your education and career.

You will be exposed to a range of practical experiences including:
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to complete project deliverables for clients
  • Visiting client sites with your Hatch team to gain an understanding of client requirements
  • Receiving coaching and mentorship from experienced professionals and experts
  • Participating in professional development sessions with senior leadership
  • Presenting on your key learnings and experience at Hatch.


Your Team

As part of the Operational Readiness team you will work with clients, potentially on site, to develop OR plans, develop operations and maintenance material which is used by the clients Operations, and learn the basics of project management. Our strength is in our people, processes and tools and our goal is to provide value to our clients by focusing on quality, safety, cost and schedule.

The 12-week-paid full-time program commences on 18 November 2019 and concludes 21 February 2020.
