Job Overview

The Warehouse Technician & Delivery Driver will work under the supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. This position will work in the warehouse environment as well as drive a variety of vehicles and trailers to pick up and deliver parts.


  • Primary focus on a safe work environment and employing safe work practices on a consistent basis.
  • Responsibility to prevent damages due to mistakes or carelessness to equipment, property and materials.
  • Prevent loss which may result from negligent inspection or testing; from spoilage or wastage of raw or in process materials.
  • Use of judgement to plan, perform and make decisions regarding the sequence of set up, execution and completion of inventory transactions in daily tasks and special projects within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
  • Work with little supervision to safely and accurately load and unload parts for pickup and delivery while maintaining error free electronic DOT logs.
  • Package and deliver materials on time to both internal and external customers.
  • Any other duties as required.
  • Moderate physical demand, continuous lifting or moving average to moderate weight materials and working in difficult work positions.
  • Ability to become:
    • Forklift Task Trained
    • Fire Extinguisher Task Trained
    • LOTO Task Trained
    • Overhead Crane Task Trained
    • Rigging Task Trained
    • MSHA Certified
  • Continuous mental and visual attention; usually repetitive work or diversified operations requiring constant alertness or activity.
  • Maintain current knowledge of DOT regulations and ability to maintain error free electronic DOT log.
  • Ability to load a safe and sturdy truck and trailer according to all DOT regulations.
  • Follow all mandated State and Federal laws.

Education / Qualification

  • Over 1 year up to and including 3 years in similar job experience, is preferred.
  • Use of adjustable measuring instruments.
  • Computer skills required (MS Office, MS Outlook etc.)
  • SAP experience a plus.
  • Maintain electronic DOT Logs.
  • Flexible work schedule and travel based on needs and overall company objectives.
  • Valid class A Commercial Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical job requirements.
