YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a part of the Mobile Maintenance Team! You will be responsible for all safety protocols in relation to operating equipment to transport various pieces of heavy duty equipment in an efficient and effective manner at the Detour Lake Mine. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:
Reporting to the Mine Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a part of the Mobile Maintenance Team! - Performing required departmental routine inspections of all applicable equipment;
- Operate float to transport equipment to various locations on site;
- Operate various pieces of equipment onto to float;
- Assist maintenance with various equipment including loader, telehandler, manlifts etc;
- Perform daily pre-start and post-operational inspections and complete appropriate documentation in compliance with Company guidelines;
- Communicate clearly and effectively through the use of radio, hand signals and/or other systems;
- Follow and comply with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures, including those outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act;
- Follow defined practices to assure quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum high school diploma or GED;
- AZ License is considered a strong asset;
- Minimum of 5 years related experience in an industrial/maintenance/mining work setting;
- Proven commitment to health, safety and the environment;
- Experience in a remote mining environment is an asset.
Work Schedule: - 7/7 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
