About the role

In line with Barminco's forecasted growth, we are seeking applications from experienced Diamond Drill Fitters to join our African operations. This or these positions will work on a 10:6 rotating FIFO roster, flying from any major capital city in Australia.

We are seeking safety-focused individuals who are aligned with our principles to mentor and upskill the local workforce in best-practice underground mining standards. Your passion for sharing knowledge and developing skills within the local team will be backed up by a resilient, supportive and considerate attitude.

Key Requirements;
  • Substantial expertise and experience in breakdown and repairs of underground Diamond Drill equipment including pumps and airlegs/ rock drills
  • Experience scheduling/ planning of LM's, Erebus, LV's preferred?
  • A minimum of five years underground mining experience (essential)
  • All relevant trade qualifications, certificates and licences
  • A valid or the ability to obtain an International Manual Drivers Licence
  • A valid National or federal Police Clearance
