Job Description

To provides assistance to the Reliability Leading Hand on Reliability and Maintenance Engineering expertise within the Process Maintenance Department to contribute actively to the continuous improvement of Processing equipment reliability and infrastructure integrity

Job Responsibilities

  • Comply with all TML SA Occupational Health and Safety requirements as well as those required by the Mauritanian regulatory settlements.
  • Provide senior level engineering maintenance and reliability engineering service within the Process Maintenance Department.
  • Report any non-conform equipment or installations in the processing infrastructure for technical correctness.
  • Execute the work instruction with satisfactory acceptance sign-off.
  • Ensures that all work is properly documented, filed and recorded for future reference
  • Performs all functions of RCA (Root Cause Analysis), FMECA (failure modes and Effect, Critical Analysis), and Pareto analysis.
  • Provides engineering drawings/specifications; Control parts References, QA/QC
  • Performs equipment trouble shooting.


Education and Experience

Mandatory skills and requirements for this position:

  • higher School Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to carry out RCA, FMECA & Pareto analysis.
  • Competent in the use of MS Office and MS Project.
  • 1-2 years experiences in Planning, Reliability Engineering and fixed Plant Design
  • Ability to read and interpret parts and service manuals.
  • Knowledge and skills of component identification, recording and serial numbering.
  • Sound understanding of area of expertise


Desirable Skill, Knowledge, Training, and Experience:
  • Computer skill of JDE and any related software application.
  • Intermediate written and spoken English language competency
  • Good communication skills
  • Time and priority management skills
