The SCS will report directly to the Communications Senior Coordinator, providing support in the production of various communication to ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the organization's strategic vision. The incumbent will also assist into day-to-day management, administration of media and communication related activities.

Responsabilités associées au poste

  • Produce the weekly media monitoring and monthly media report.
  • Develop content for internal newsletters, including research/writing/editing, creating photography or video assets, formatting and assembling content in appropriate platforms or applications for distribution
  • Monitor and Oversee digital communication by producing and updating content for TMLSA's digital platform: internet website / Facebook / YouTube.
  • Ensure that digital contents align with the corporate policies and messages and develop social media contents, which support or promote company goals.
  • Support the Communications senior Coordinator in managing media relations: administrative support for media engagement plan, site visits documentation, assistance producing fact sheets for hostile articles, key messages, etc.
  • Ensure the production of communication contents: press releases, internet banners, presentations (PowerPoints, brochures, posters...).
  • Hold archives of Pictures and Video databases on hard drives for Communications department.

Études et expérience

  • Have a least a Bachelor degree in Communications, Media, journalism, Business, Languages or related field
  • A journalism background is an asset
  • Excellent grasp of communications principles and practices
  • Proficient command of English, French and Arabic (Oral and Written)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in similar position
  • Strong communication skills, including research, writing, editing and proofreading
  • Have good/excellent writing skills
  • Knowledge and experience using digital tools and platforms to communicate,


  • Working knowledge of MS Office; photo and video-editing software is an asset,
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to produce messages or releases when required;
  • Outstanding organizational and planning abilities,
  • Social media experience and knowledge of best practices;
  • Ability to work across departments and functions to support organizational communications
  • Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Experience with or ability to learn various applications and technology platforms for writing, publishing, design or layout..
