Purpose of role

Kinross is looking for a Business or Human Resources student to assist the Human Resources Department during the summer of 2023.

Job Responsibilities

Work with the Talent Management, Leadership, Engagement, and Learning teams. Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Contribute to the development of materials and communications that enhance, enrich, and increase our awareness related to Talent and Engagement activities and accomplishments both internally and externally
  • Support the planning and activation of the Inclusion and Diversity activities around various days and celebrations throughout the year
  • Support Learning and Development implementations and logistic actions
  • Assist Engagement Programs such as Living Our Values Awards
  • Research Learning, development, performance, Inclusion and Diversity topics, events, practices and approaches that can be implemented within Talent and our current and future initiatives
  • Assist with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data in an engaging format for various external partners.
  • Assist in the development and collection of statistical information and provide reports, analysis and presentations
  • Support admin work in the area, such as cost analysis, invoice processing and others.
  • Other projects and duties that come up during the duration of your internship


Must Haves

  • 2nd or 3 rd year student in Human Resources or Business
  • Lodgings in Toronto for the duration of the placement
  • Strong time management skills; the ability to meet multiple and competing deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and can-do attitude with a demonstrated ability to perform well independently as well as on a team
