S/he will work closely with the engineering department in providing the resource model comprised of mineralization domains and a geological model for the reserve process.

Responsibilities
Monitoring daily collection and interpretation of geological and assay data input to the block models at the mine and associated development projects. Acting as the ‘QP' (qualified person), execute, supervise where applicable, and co-author the mid-year, if applicable and year-end, Mineral Resource/Mineral Reserve report and supporting documentation for development projects or other property resources as required. Working in harmony with the Engineering group, performing and recommending the necessary grade interpolation and resource classification methodology inherent to the resource process. Assist the production and exploration geology team goal of annually replacing resources and reserves and pursuing opportunities for resource growth. Governance over leading industry best practices utilized; QA/QC in all aspects of the geologic process, from sampling, assaying and diamond drilling, to grade control and reconciliation. Mentor the database, production and exploration geologists in the construction of digital wireframes, the essential building blocks to the geologic and orebody grade models; relevant QA/QC drilling and assaying leading industry practices. Responsible for the continuous update of the property geological model and camp scale research geological model. Work with the exploration geologists in developing reasonable geological models for resource development projects property wide and assist with M&A activities. Assist the exploration team in exploration and delineation drill targeting using the block model interpolation and classification to guide the upgrade of inferred to indicated resources.
