Responsibilities
We are looking for Haul Truck Drivers to work in our Open Pit at Red Chris Mine, on a temporary six-month contract. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Responsibilities
We are looking for Haul Truck Drivers to work in our Open Pit at Red Chris Mine, on a temporary six-month contract. Reporting to the Mine Operations Supervisor, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- The Operation of haul trucks (Cat 777, 785 and 793) in an open pit mine on 12-hour shifts rotating between day and night shift
- Follow established traffic patterns avoiding road hazards
- Perform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily equipment reports
- Report all unsafe mechanical conditions
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on equipment
- Assist in general mine labour and other duties as required
The successful applicants will be a strong team player, able to work independently as required and be committed to safe working practices. Experience in an open pit mining environment is preferred together with the following abilities:
- Be prepared to actively participate in a positive and safe working atmosphere.
- The ability to stay alert and pay attention to detail during all hours and weather conditions whilst on shift
- Ability to safely climb and access equipment, as well as lift heavy objects up to 50lbs
- A valid BC Drivers License
