The Supervisor - Fixed Plant Maintenance, oversees a Mill Maintenance Crew whose principal focus is to maintain mill equipment, including, but not limited to SAG and Ball mills, and Gyrotory crushers. This ensures safe operation of the Mill Operations department enabling them to achieve production targets.

Who we're looking for:

This ensures safe operation of the Mill Operations department enabling them to achieve production targets.
Accountabilities:
- Ensuring compliance with all safety, quality, schedule and security requirements
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the maintenance and repair of mill equipment
- Oversee training and supervision of staff in conjunction with the Training department.
- Meet departmental KPI's including availability and schedule compliance.
- Work closely with other entities of Maintenance and the site to support busines and growth.
- Supporting the Mill Maintenance General Foreman in the daily activities of the Mill
- Guiding, coaching & mentorship of Mill Maintenance employees
- Demonstrating continuous efforts to improve procedures
- Managing crews and job tasks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Interprovincial Red Seal Certification as a Millwright
- 5-10 years of experience servicing equipment, with at least 1-3 years in a supervisory capacity
- Demonstrated planning skills
- Proven numeracy and analytical skills
- Experience will SAP and other maintenance computer systems
- Familiar with Microsoft Office suite of products (word, excel powerpoint etc.)
- Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
