You will deliver by;
  • Identify the scope of work for upcoming shutdowns from SAP and P&E capital projects.
  • Ensure all project and corrective work orders required for the shutdown are captured at the 'Scope
  • Challenge' meeting. Assign appropriate shutdown revision number as required.
  • Scope all corrective action (ZPM1) work orders tasks to accurately reflect manning, material, tools and equipment resources to successfully complete the job safely and within the shutdown timeframe.
  • Prepare all corrective action (ZPM1) work packs to ensure safety and quality is maintained to a high standard during execution.
  • Review and update all system generated work orders (ZPM3) as well as PRT's to ensure any lessons captured from last shutdown are implemented.
  • Identify any Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPs) and ensure they are captured within the shutdown schedule. Revise finals scope of work and ensure all key stakeholders sign off on work methodology and work packs quality.
  • Liaise with Materials Coordinator to ensure all required materials have been ordered and expedited to site, especially long lead time items.
  • Assist Shutdown Specialist and scheduler in determining shutdown manning numbers and the split between NML and contractor personnel required.
  • Collate shutdown data for close out meetings. Provides input to the development of a preventative maintenance strategy based on leading industry practices to meet both electrical and instrumentation reliability requirements providing advice on the management and improvement of asset performance

Essential criteria
  • Must be Trade Certified in any Discipline
  • Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage
  • Must be Competent with SAP
  • Must be Competent with MS Office suite, KPI dashboard experience, Shutdown Digital Tracking system. Adobe Acrobat, MS Teams (Conference calls / Document Storage)
  • Experience in the use of MS Project would be an advantage

  • Excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills
  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills including project execution management experience.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training

The Requirements
  • Must be open to FIFO in PNG.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Must have proof of a completed Police Clearance within the last six months.
  • Must have a current PNG Class 6 License
  • Must have completed a Police Clearance valid in the last 6 Months
