We offer several designated marshalling points within BC including Nanaimo, Vancouver, Kelowna, Kamloops, Williams Lake, Prince George, Smithers, and Calgary AB.

We are seeking 1 Shift Assayer's to assist the Assay Lab Team with daily sample analysis and validation for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a 2 weeks in, 2 weeks out rotation. This is a 12 month fixed term opportunity.

Who we're looking for:

Reporting to the Assay Lab Supervisor, responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Collection and preparation of Geological and Metallurgical samples
  • Reagent and stock solution preparation and maintenance
  • Instrument calibration and maintenance
  • Inventory control and reporting
  • General housekeeping
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications & Experience:

The successful candidates will have a high commitment to safety policies and procedures and be a strong team player. Additionally, you will have:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in wet and fire assaying
  • Diploma or Degree in Chemistry is considered an asset
  • Assayer certification is preferred
  • Strong time management skills
  • Experience with instrument software, MS Office suite and LIMS
  • Valid driver's license required
