The role will have responsibility to:
  • Ensures personal and team compliance with all company HSE requirements & policies including Fitness for Work.
  • Completes any HSE tasks only if the hazards and any potential consequences are understood and any corrections are firstly agreed by the relevant Supervisor.
  • Assists to develop comprehensive strategies and procedures for the process plant maintenance projects that may arise in relation to kitting and staging of relevant plant areas.
  • Actively participates in scheduling and implementation of planned kitting and staging maintenance tasks

Essential criteria
  • 5+ years relevant work experience essential in heavy industrial and/or Autoclaves.
  • Electrical/Instrumentation trades qualification
  • Tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • PNG Driver's Licence - Class 6 essential.
  • Forklift Licence desirable.
  • Light Truck Licence desirable.
  • Previous experience in delivery and assessment of training desirable.
  • Experience in kitting and staging activities including planning and executing major shut downs.

Desirable criteria
  • Proficient in English with excellent verbal, written communication and public speaking skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Sound planning, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure and autonomously.
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Strong active listening & interpersonal skills for rapport building, conflict resolution & training

The Requirements
  • Must be open to FIFO in PNG.
  • Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment medical assessment.
  • Must have proof of a completed Police Clearance within the last six months.
