Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.
Accountabilities:
Leadership: Demonstrate leadership with the highest professional and ethical standards ensuring all actions are transparent and in accordance with company policy.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential
• A minimum of 5 years survey experience preferably in an open pit mine.
• A demonstrated commitment to safety
• Experience in the following mine planning and/or drafting software - MineSight, Vulcan, Surpac, Autocad
Desirable
• Survey Engineering or Technologist Diploma
• Mining Technologist Diploma
Behavioral Competencies:
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to make decisions without complete information.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments.
• Takes ownership of all aspects of the position.
Technical Capabilities:
Essential
• Use of MineSight or other 3d modelling and drafting software.
• Leadership training and mentoring
• Strong communication and presenting skills
• Experience with GPS, drone and total station technology and hardware
• Basic RPAS licence
Desirable
• Advanced RPAS licence

- The Senior Surveyor will provide aligned, consistent, high-quality survey services required to support surface production at the Red Chris Mine.
We are seeking an individual for a Fly In, Fly Out opportunity working on a two weeks in, two weeks out rotation.
Accountabilities:
- Safety - Demonstrate a personal commitment and leadership in providing a safe working environment by:
o Promoting and maintaining a culture of safe production by compliance with company safety systems, policies, procedures, environmental requirements, internal team safety requirements and other relevant targets.
o Actively modelling and pursuing visible felt safety leadership, and our culture-based safety program. - Provide pit surveyor with his/her daily tasks and any other tasks received during the day
- Ensure daily maps and dig solids are completed and distributed to the appropriate dept
- Ensure all drill design files are up to date as well as blast holes are surveyed, and blast solids are done
- Ensure all month end surfaces and solids are completed and given to the appropriate recipients
- Highwall prism monitoring
- Drone care and maintenance including training and permitting of new users
- Dig and Ground Disturbance Permits, Ensure Files are organized and managed properly
- Provide assistance to the pit surveyor and TIA construction as needed
- Provide field data and technical support to MineStar Fleet Management
