Cadia Valley Operations is located in Central Western New South Wales, approximately 25 kms outside the vibrant regional township of Orange and a convenient three hours from the capital city of Sydney. Employees reside in varied accommodation options in and around the district of Orange with the surrounding area's occupied by wineries, stone fruit orchards, farming and national parks.

Who we're looking for

The Freight and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for the safe, efficient and cost-effective management of the freight and logistics operations of the warehouse satisfy and align with site requirements.

You will Proactively develop and maintain relationships with site personnel and suppliers for the use of resources for both incoming and outgoing freight.

Other responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate crane and vehicle movements to minimise waiting times.
  • Create and communicate daily transport requirement plans.
  • Provide a high level of service responding to customer enquiries and resolve any issues that arise.
  • Reconcile invoices to services provided and conduct End of Month activities to meet requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders to book/manage international freight and relevant clearance processes.
  • Adhere to all National Heavy Vehicle Regulations


The ideal candidate will be experienced in a warehousing, freight and logistics environment and demonstrated experience in resource allocation and coordination.

You will also possess the following:
  • Strong understanding and thorough work experience of warehousing, freight and logistics.
  • Extensive knowledge of National Heavy Vehicle Regulations including Fatigue Management, Permits, Mass/Dimensions restrictions, Chain of Responsibility.
  • Familiarity with Customs and Quarantine procedures.
  • HRW Licence Forklift - Desirable
