About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management & Engineering Services (AMES) team at Tom Price. With exposure to the newest technology and innovation, you will champion defect elimination and reliability engineering processes in order to improve asset reliability and integrity for the heavy mobile and ancillary equipment.

Reporting to the Superintendent Asset Management and Engineering Services, you will:
  • Analyse equipment performance data to successfully identify and implement reliability improvement initiatives
  • Recommend and implement tactics designed to support high levels of asset safety, reliability and integrity
  • Provide technical engineering support to the site maintenance execution teams
  • Lead and conduct high level root cause analysis (RCA) for asset failures using asset performance management software
  • Execute both technical and process based projects derived to improve the performance of the fleet
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of our assets and analyse primary/ secondary maintenance tasks to improve asset reliability and cost

About you

You are someone who thrives on a challenge and is willing to be creative when solving technical problems. With a natural ability to relate to a diverse range of stakeholders, you will know how to effectively collaborate with others in order to drive successful outcomes. You will have previous experience leading and managing a diverse portfolio of improvement projects and an understanding of reliability-based principles and processes such as root cause analysis (RCA) and defect elimination.

Experience with SAP and other maintenance and reliability software will be advantageous, as will trade or tertiary qualifications in engineering or another related discipline. A 'C' class driver's licence will be required.

This position is based at Tom Price with the choice of either a 5/2 or 5/2; 4/3 residential roster to suit your lifestyle.
