About the role

Reporting to the Superintendent your role will focused on identifying opportunities to extend critical equipment component life and preventing early life equipment failure. With a demonstrated commitment to improving safety, cost and productivityyou will follow structured processes to optimise preventative maintenance tactics and minimise overall business costs.

Working Monday to Friday 8am 4pm, or with the flexibility for a 9-day fortnight work pattern, this is a role where you can really make a difference to maintenance outcomes.

About you

We are seeking a person with excellent communication skills that has a relevant mechanical trade qualification, preferably in Maintenance and Diagnostics, Fitting and Welding or in a comparable trade.

Experience diagnosing and repairing hydraulic systems is preferable and prior experience in heavy industry, large scale complex continuous processing operations beneficial.

We require successful candidates to possess a high degree of flexibility and strong problem-solving skills to identify and conduct planned and unplanned repair and diagnostic work within production time constraints on a wide variety of equipment.

Where you will be working

You will be a part of the People Services team, the delivery team of our Human Resources function. It offers global expertise and services in areas of day-to-day HR operations. The role reports through to the HR Team Lead based in Brisbane within the APAC East Coast HR team.
