We are looking for a Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to support the design and implementation of the People centric strategy for the Copper and Diamonds (C&D) Product Group which aims to deliver a people centric approach to deliver a highly profitable and sustainability driven C&D business of the future. A focus on employee engagement, behaviours and culture, performance and productivity, talent and capability, leadership effectiveness and Inclusion and Diversity, across the Product Group will be key to delivering this outcome.

Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources and working in a collaborative and challenging environment within the Diamonds HR APAC team, you will be:
  • Designing, implementing and tracking the progress of employee engagement initiatives,
  • Driving the alignment of leadership behaviours and culture to the strategy,
  • Defining and tracking the effectiveness of the Inclusion and Diversity strategy,
  • Defining, implementing and tracking a consistent approach to labour productivity
  • Driving the identification, retention and development of talent.

What you'll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • A Bachelor's degree in HR with a strong background as a HRBP within a large networked organisation.
  • Ability to define strategy and translate that strategy into executable and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to engage, influence and collaborate with senior leadership teams with a good application of contemporary HR systems, processes and obligations.
  • Ability to coach and influence senior leaders in a way that tests conventional thinking and challenges the status quo.
  • Experience in organisational design and implementation of appropriate tools and systems.
  • Flexibility to work across time zones and hold a high level of integrity, confidentiality and credibility.

The role is Brisbane based with some travel required to Copper and Diamonds site based locations.
