We are looking for a Payroll Officer to support the timely and accurate provision of payroll services in the APAC region.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to gain exposure to payroll systems covering the APAC region and working with internal and external stakeholders and providers to ensure statutory compliance.

Reporting to the Team Lead Payroll and working in a challenging and exciting environment, within Payroll APAC team you will be:
  • Responsible for delivering the day to day activities of the payroll services and statutory payroll compliance on behalf of the business;
  • Resolving queries either within payroll services or with external parties which may include technical issues or complex payroll queries;
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, internal control standards and regulatory requirements;
  • Maintaining a focus on continuous improvement to identify and implement improvement opportunities in the payroll process and technical solution;
  • Understanding the payroll related requirements and to act as a point of contact for stakeholders in relation to new functionality, ad hoc requirements or system changes.

What you'll bring
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
  • Good knowledge of SAP within a payroll environment of at least 1000+ employees
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • You will have a comprehensive understanding of relevant Australian payroll legislation, with extensive experience and knowledge of payroll and superannuation.
  • Excellent organisation, written/ verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office products coupled with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
