About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Mobile Equipment Maintenance Scheduler to join our Asset Management & Engineering Services (AMES) team at Gudai-Darri (Koodaideri) and help us excel at safely maintaining an extensive mobile fleet through effective preparation and delivery of maintenance schedules.

Gudai-Darri (Koodaideri) is a new mine, shaping new ways of working. You will get the opportunity to work on a fleet embedded with the latest technology comprising of Autonomous Haul Trucks, Drills and Water Carts along with other manned heavy mobile and ancillary equipment.

Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a challenging and exciting environment you will be responsible for:
  • Detailed knowledge of Work Management & Shut Management Processes, with particular emphasis on scheduling related phases.
  • Produce weekly draft & commit schedules, run the corresponding meetings with the various stakeholders following set agendas.
  • Generate weekly W/M analysis reports for discussion at the draft schedule meetings.
  • Balancing labour forecast with the required work
  • Prioritising work with the Supervisors, Superintendents and external departments, utilising your considerable stakeholder and relationship building skills;
  • Ability to think outside the box to safely reduced shutdown duration's where possible;
  • Work closely with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation to identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement and ensure there is effective communication of the plans to ensure appropriate risk management strategies are in place.

About you

To be successful in the role, you will have:
  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team;
  • Demonstrated skills in maintenance planning or scheduling within the resources industry;
  • Strong mechanical background with experience in maintenance of mobile equipment;
  • Detail understanding of Work Management and Zero-Based Budgeting principles;
  • Previous experience utilising a Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP experience will be highly regarded);
  • A current and valid manual 'C Class' driver's license.
  • A Trade qualification or equivalent;

Where you will be working

This position is based at our Gudai-Darri (Koodaideri) operation on a FIFO 5/2; 4/3 roster from Perth.

Located 160km North-West of Newman, our Gudai-Darri (Koodaideri) Operations will have a dedicated airport, state-of-the-art camp facilities and family friendly rosters making it an exciting and pleasant place to work at.

Gudai-Darri is a completely non-smoking site.
