About the role
We are looking for an experienced, safety conscious Electrical Operator/ Maintainer to join our team at Utilities Paraburdoo Power Station. You will be part of a safe and technically disciplined team. Your demonstrated ability to deliver against a wide variety of electrical activities is essential to our team success. The role is to carry out inspections, scheduled maintenance, operation of assets and breakdown maintenance as required at Paraburdoo Power Station. This includes LM6000PC Gas Turbine Generators instrumentation & calibration, HV, LV & ELV general maintenance. On all the air, oil, gearbox & generator cooling systems. Balance of Plant systems including RO water treatment plant, Compressed Air, Waste Water system, UPS, SCADA, PLC.

About you
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- A proactive approach and a strong commitment to maintaining our safe working culture
- Experience and confidence in delivering against your electrical trade
- Electrical trade qualification & license
- Certificate 4 Instrumentation
- EEHA qualification and experience
- Experience in HV switching and operations
- A current "C Class" WA Manual Driver's License
- PLC and operating platform qualifications and experience
- Experience working in the power generation industry
- Experience in operations and maintenance of LM6000 Gas Turbines & Balance of Plant
- Experience and an understanding of Work Management Processes & Practices.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- High Risk Work Licenses in LF,WP,RG
- "HR Class" WA Driver's License
- Type B Gas Appliance, Supervising or Supervised Gas Fitter
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and SAP
