We are looking for enthusiastic Mine Scheduling Engineers to manage the daily and weekly mine scheduling activities and provide technical support to the mine operations team in order to ensure the safe and efficient execution of the mine plan.

Reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer, working an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, you will be involved in a variety of tasks including daily mine scheduling and machine allocations, daily and weekly grade control and production forecasting, generation of the weekly stockpile schedule and compliance reporting. You will also play an active role in identifying and implementing mine planning improvements, cost reduction and efficiency initiatives.

About you

With tertiary qualifications in Engineering or equivalent, you will have demonstrated experience within an open cut mining environment (preferably iron ore), coupled with practical experience within a scheduling or production engineering role. You will have a working knowledge of mining and business software such as MS Office and Vulcan.
