About the role

We are looking for two Long Term Planning Superintendents to pioneer our new centrally based long term planning function for both Fixed Plant and Mobile assets. As part of the Maintenance Excellence program we are establishing a centrally based Long Term Planning team to provide life cycle cost modelling and planning for our assets using our newly implemented AMT system. This is an opportunity to join the team from day zero providing you an opportunity to help shape the way the function will operate to deliver a world class service to our site based short term planning and maintenance teams.

This is a great opportunity for a relationship driven leader to bring their previous skills and experience to the team.

Reporting to the Principal Long Term Planning and working in a challenging and exciting environment, within Asset Management & Engineering Services you will be:
  • Developing and standing up the new long-term planning function.
  • Leading a team of long-term planners to deliver operation budgets, life cycle strategy, demand smoothing and component forecasting.
  • Engaging with our site-based teams to deliver risk based budgets.
  • Working with OEM's to ensure component forecasts can be met.

  • Great communication, presentation and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to develop relationships easily
  • Previous experience in a leadership role
  • Previous experience in a large matrix organisation
  • Previous experience in maintenance execution or planning/budgeting is highly advantageous but is not necessary. If you have proven experience in relationship management and leadership then we want to hear from you!

Where you'll be working

This role is based in Perth, Western Australia and will be working Monday Friday with adhoc site visits across the Pilbara.
