We are looking for a Specialist Site Integration to coordinate the weekly and daily site planning & scheduling processes across mining, maintenance and processing. You will be collaborating with engineers, schedulers and operators in different teams in order to decide on an optimal integrated site schedule.

Reporting to the Superintendent Integrated Operations and working in a collaborative community, you will:
  • Influence the performance of the site within the wider value chain by developing execution tactics and schedules, managing maintenance and operational trade-off decisions and engaging with other teams for resolution;
  • Develop and utilise processes and tools that enable dynamic value trade-off decisions;
  • Lead the analysis of operation trends and performance, providing key insights to refine and optimise schedules where necessary;
  • Identify risks and guide the business to solve conflicting priorities and delays;
  • Proactively encourage best practice in work activities and promote its use within the company;
  • Participate in cross functional teams and/or day to day operational initiatives that have impact across the value chain;

  • Understanding of the Supply Chain and the flow on effects of decisions made;
  • Broad operational experience to be able to understand constraints and optionality;
  • Experience with using data analytics packages;

This role is for applicants residing in or willing to permanently relocate to Western Australia. Rio Tinto offers Fly in and fly out options from Perth, our regional FIFO hubs and the opportunity to live in our residential towns where applicable.
