We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our fixed plant operations team at Tom Price. In this dynamic, hands-on role, you will provide maintenance, breakdown and shutdown support as well as technical assistance and advice on the effectiveness of maintenance practices, tactics and processes.

What you'll bring
With tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, you will have demonstrated mechanical experience in a maintenance engineering or reliability engineering role within a mining or industrial environment. You will have a strong focus towards safety and safe work practises and an understanding of equipment failure investigation using root cause analysis techniques.
With prior project management experience, you will have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and be someone who is able to collaborate with a diverse range of internal partners. A 'C' class manual driver's license will also be required and you will be someone who thrives on a challenge, and is seeking a dynamic and fast paced hands-on role.

Where you'll be working
This position is based at Tom Price, working an 8 days on/ 6 days off roster with the choice of either residential or FIFO arrangements to suit your lifestyle.
During your rostered work days, you will be either staying at our well serviced accommodation village that provides modern, comfortable facilities for our FIFO workforce or returning to the comfort of your own company provided home in the well-developed town of Tom Price. As for your days off, for FIFO employees, that's up to you! For residential employees, being based in Tom Price, you will be living the adventures dream, with your new home being on the doorstep of the Hamersley Ranges and Karijini National Park. While living in the Tom Price community, you will get to share your love of the great outdoors and take part in a huge range of activities and community groups. Arts and sport to volunteering, there is something of interest for you!

- Be the project leader for technical modifications to equipment / components
- Actively drive a robust safety culture and processes through a strong in the field presence
- Provide maintenance, breakdown and shutdown support to the operation
- Collaborate with and provide technical advice to the fixed plant maintenance and operations teams
- Conduct root cause analysis for asset failures in the region
- Document and generate reports and drawings for equipment upgrades and changes
- Perform failure investigations and plant performance analysis
- Be responsible for high level asset diagnosis and recovery planning for all fixed plant
- Provide engineering assistance for the procurement of new equipment / components
- Manage change management processes relating to maintenance activities
