We are looking for a Light Vehicle Supervisor to run the daily activities of the Light Vehicle Workshop and execute the weekly plan to succession.

Where you will be working
Our Weipa Operations includes three bauxite mines, processing facilities, ship loaders, an export wharf, two ports, power stations, a rail network and ferry terminals. Located on the Western Cape York Peninsula in Far North Queensland, each year the operation produces more than 35 million tonnes of bauxite.
Our operations are supported by a 1,900-strong workforceincluding 26 per cent who are women and 25 per cent Indigenous employees. Activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, ports, cultural heritage management, and processing facility management.
The development of our new mine, Amrun, which was completed in 2018, will extend the life of our Weipa bauxite operations by decades to come and significantly build on our 55-year history on the Western Cape.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a Light Vehicle Supervisor to run the daily activities of the Light Vehicle Workshop and execute the weekly plan to succession.
About the role
This role is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual. Working a 5 Day week roster and reporting to the Superintendent of Asset Management Shutdown Management, you will:
- Manage the work flow in and out of the workshop
- Maintain accurate SAP system data
- Manage the safety requirements for all team members
- Ensuring targets are consistently delivered in a sustainable way with maximum customer satisfaction
- Delivering operational excellence through continual improvement work, maintenance efficiencies quality, process and procedures and business improvement
- Interpret and report work management metrics to highlight areas of impact and opportunity including Schedule Work, Schedule Compliance, Backlog and Availabilities
What you will bring
- Demonstrated commitment to "The way we work"

- Intermediate computer literacy
- Understanding of maintenance management principles and work management systems
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Previous experience in leadership
- Prior experience and knowledge of SAP system and MS Office Suite
- Technical background in Light Vehicle Workshop activities
