About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to be focused on increasing plant reliability and workforce productivity through quality work planning.

This role is a great opportunity to join a successful, dynamic and experienced team. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, you will be:
  • Improving productivity of people, equipment and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles to efficient work execution.
  • Responsible for maintenance work by producing weekly maintenance plans which are practical with all of the resources identified with accurate estimates and all necessary materials.
  • Ensuring safety needs are given a top priority in work planning.
  • Providing KPI data showing maintenance performance to various departments.
  • Recommending system and design changes to improve the processes.
  • Leading follow-up meetings to capture learnings from the workforce to capture improvements in plant and procedures.

About you

To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
  • SAP experience
  • Previous project experience.

It will also be beneficial if you have:
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage solid and dotted line accountabilities.
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office software skills and database management.
