About the role
We are looking for a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler to be focused on increasing plant reliability and workforce productivity through quality work planning.
This role is a great opportunity to join a successful, dynamic and experienced team. Reporting to the Planning Superintendent, you will be:
- Improving productivity of people, equipment and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles to efficient work execution.
- Responsible for maintenance work by producing weekly maintenance plans which are practical with all of the resources identified with accurate estimates and all necessary materials.
- Ensuring safety needs are given a top priority in work planning.
- Providing KPI data showing maintenance performance to various departments.
- Recommending system and design changes to improve the processes.
- Leading follow-up meetings to capture learnings from the workforce to capture improvements in plant and procedures.
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience
- Previous maintenance planning and scheduling experience.
- SAP experience
- Previous project experience.
It will also be beneficial if you have:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage solid and dotted line accountabilities.
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office software skills and database management.
