We are looking for multiple Officer Heritage Liaison's to manage heritage field survey teams to deliver against the infield survey schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone to increase their knowledge and experience in the heritage space.
Reporting to the Superintendent Fieldwork, you will be:
- Delivering in-field survey works for Heritage Advisors
- Maintaining heritage fieldwork equipment, assets and fleet
- Managing the infield safety standards and emergency response requirements
- Coordinating ground based logistics requirements
- Representing RTIO and supervising infield contractors and visitors
- Supporting social surrounds, ethnographic, botanical and other environmental survey works with Traditional Owner group involvement
- Managing and preparing for field safety and travel requirements
- Managing field team wellbeing and fatigue
- Supporting heritage audits and implementing heritage protective measures
- Supporting Community and Traditional Owner group led cultural heritage projects
- Identifying and raising Traditional Owner feedback and concerns
- Supporting other technical infield requirements such as driving the Drill & Blast Specialists out to field and conducting geotechnical assessments
What you'll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- A broad background in mining & resources, consulting, not for profit, Aboriginal Corporations or contract management
- Knowledge of heritage work and experience in its application through the fieldwork, safety and logistics support
- Significant remote fieldwork experience including emergency response, 4WD and off road, fatigue and wellbeing management and safety leadership
