About the role

We are looking for a Specialist G2/Process Control Systems. The role is responsible for the RBM G2 and other critical OT systems, historians and reporting solutions.

This requires working closely with the business stakeholders in supporting the fixed plant operations with asset maintenance, technical knowledge, skills and provides both day to day support and leading improvement projects in adherence to APC/ME, Cyber Security and Enterprise Architecture standards

Reporting to the Operations Manager and working in a collaborative community within team, you will be performing the following duties:
  • The process control systems include Alarm Reporting, , Wonderware Historians, OSIPI etc.
  • Provides expertise and direction in the design, procurement, installation, commissioning and operation for all Process Control Systems
  • Ensures service providers (OEM's) deliver System stability, availability, compliance and quality of service as per defined SLA's
  • Provide 2nd level standby support
  • Perform quality checks to ensure standards and solutions are met during project delivery and accepts transition to support from Delivery teams
  • Work closely with Infrastructure, Networks & Cyber Security teams for all activities that impact the Process Control Systems
  • Manage the license portfolio of all Process control applications
  • Maintain a healthy documentation process for all systems in scope

What you'll bring
  • BSC or B Tech Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 7 or more years' experience in controls and instrumentation
  • Good Knowledge of G2 systems (Gynsym)
  • Good Knowledge of SCADA programming in (Archestra, Intouch, InSQL,Cimplicity)
  • Expert experience in object-oriented programming (C++, DotNet, Microsoft VBA+)
  • Sound Knowledge of Batching Systems for heavy industry Process
  • PLC programming Knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of software designs techniques
  • Experience developing and monitoring delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
