About the role

We are looking for a Coordinator - Material Handling to work closely with and in support of the Project Team and Owners Team. This coordinator will oversee and coordinate project-work activities in the execution of planning and integration with operations, construction, permitting, quality assurance, pre-commissioning, and commissioning. Also, coordinate day-to-day work scope between other contractor teams and active operations.

This role is a great opportunity to develop your mining skills and ensure the successful and safe execution of projects through detailed planning and execution. Reporting to the Projects team, you will work in compliance with:
  • RTKC HSE standards programs and contractor management documentation standards
  • RTKC Permitting processes
  • Construction Contract scope, schedule, and cost
  • Engineering and Design specifications and quality
  • Support the project team in development and execution of:
    • Scope of Work documents
    • Quality Assurance/Commissioning Execution Plan and Forms documentation
    • Construction, Pre-commissioning, and Commissioning Schedules

What you'll bring
  • Education in the relevant field as an asset however is not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience with computer system applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Projects
  • Industrial Experience, mechanical, structural, piping preferred
