LOCATION: Warehouse Facilities - Columbus, MT
*This position requires weekly travel to both mine locations with some remote flexibility.
Position Purpose and Summary:
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; Managing inventory re-ordering, processing direct charge orders from Operations personnel, soliciting vendor quotations and accurate information to secure orders and service agreements in accordance with Sibanye Stillwater-approved Purchasing Policies and Procedures.

Position Purpose and Summary:

JOB SKILLS:
- Experienced in Supply Chain Management, including:
- Competitive Analysis
- Cost Analysis
- Cost Avoidance
- Ability to negotiate pricing and other terms of purchase consistent with consideration of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need.
- Expedite and ensure the timely delivery and receipt of materials.
- Work with other departments to recommend new suppliers, issue REQ's and analyze proposals.
- Negotiate and process vendor contracts for materials.
- Interface with Accounting and Warehousing on problem resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant purchasing experience and a high school degree or GED equivalent
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Effective planning and scheduling skills.
- Strong negotiating skills
- Computer competency in Lotus Notes, MS Word, and Excel
- Experience with JD Edwards or other MRP Systems.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED :
- B.S. in a relevant discipline
