The Opportunity

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the purpose of this role is to provide to safely execute maintenance work as per SAP processes, maintenance schedules and work instructions.

Location

This role will be based at our Worsley Refinery, where our employees choose to live in the Bunbury, Collie or other nearby communities which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, this is an opportunity too good to miss.
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in and out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour's drive of Collie.

Accountabilities

Primary responsibilities are but not limited to:

• Maintaining dust collectors
• Performing filter reclothing operations to disc, press and pan filters
• Blower servicing and cleaning of filters
• Chemical cleaning of associated equipment
• Maintaining conveyor dust systems
• Safe use and maintenance of required PPE
• Be flexible with start times and finish times to meet production requirements and meet business needs
• Assist the operations team with any, emergent or prioritised work
• Assist the maintenance team as a sub function.
• Adherence to performance expectations, coupled with individual and department KPI's requirements
• Adherence to daily planned work schedule

Other accountabilities include:

• Maintenance practices activities including HRWL requirements such as basic rigging, dogging, Working at Heights and Confined Space
• Assist the operations team with any emergent, prioritised work
• Assist the maintenance team as a sub function
• In field parts management
• Hazard identification and management
• Housekeeping as directed
• SWI review and development
• Execute work orders as per schedule and relevant work instructions associated

About You

Experience/Technical Skills

• Previous refinery or processing plant experience advantageous
• Minimum C Class drivers' licence
• Mechanical aptitude
• Possess current HRWL - Forklift, Dogging, Rigging, Working at Heights
• An awareness of mine site safety requirements
• SAP exposure is desirable, but not essential
• Physical fitness
