The Opportunity
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the purpose of this role is to provide to safely execute production activities according to the schedule and operate the physical assets, plant and equipment as defined by HSEC requirements, the operations standards and operating procedures.
This role is offered on a Permanent Full-Time contract basis, working on a day and night shift.

This role will be based at our Worsley Refinery where our employees choose to live in the Bunbury, Collie or other nearby communities which all offer an enviable country lifestyle. Surrounded by magnificent jarrah forests, pristine beaches and world-famous wineries, this is an opportunity too good to miss.
As there is no accommodation on site, you will be required to drive in and out on a daily basis. Employees ideally live within an hour's drive of Collie.
Accountabilities
Primary responsibilities are to:
• Demonstrate commitment and conformance to safe work practices and procedures
1. Receive handover
• Understands the condition of the asset and the work required for the day
• Question gaps and routines not done
2. Receive work assignment
• Understand scope and competency required, SAP operation long text, job hazards and timeframe.
• Conduct personal risk assessment for task
3. Perform routines and escorts
• In accordance with Clearance to Work Procedures
• Proactive identification of emergent work through check sheets.
4. Executes work safely
• Understand root cause of emergent work.
• Follow procedures for tasks and identify improvements.
• Maintain housekeeping to standard.
• Execute work as per Supervisor work assignment.
• Report all incidents, near misses, equipment or plant failures and delays promptly.
5. Prepare for handover
• Complete handover log.
• Update routines and check sheets.
• Capture transactional data about work performed and any subsequent work requirements - e.g., SWI updating, planning etc.
• Ensure workshops, tool lockers and amenities are maintained in a clean state.
6. Handover to the next team
• Provide quality handover with integrity
• Sign handover log
About You
Experience/Technical Skills
• Holds Certificate III in Process Plant Manufacturing or a minimum of 5 years' experience as an operator in a minerals/oil/gas process plant environment
Qualifications
• Has previously worked in a team and has contributed to projects
