POSITION SYNOPSIS:

The purpose of the role is t o provide theoretical and practical training and assessments, as well as follow up training and coaching on Mobile equipment operators to meet organizational objectives.

REQUIREMENTS:

Serious contenders will be in possession of a grade 12, and an assessors' certificate and have relevant mobile equipment licenses with a minimum of 3 years' TMM training experience in mining environment;

3 years' experience as a lifting equipment operator;

Facilitating TMM (4 or more equipment) surface training experience is essential;

Assessor certificate is essential;

Code 08 driver's license is essential;

Computer literacy in MS Suite is an advantage;

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Plan and facilitate TMM classroom training;

Conduct TMM on-the-job coaching of operators and supervisors

Conduct relevant TMM assessments and declare competency;

Conduct moderation of assessments;

Follow-up and make recommendations about on-the-job practical training;

Conduct planned task observations and training verifications;

Review and develop/update relevant learning materials;

Advise line managers and employees regarding training related matters;

Implement and manage individual projects;

Advise and provide guidance to line regarding Training legislation;

Coach and advise line on integrated HRD aspects.
