The Opportunity

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Superintendent Port and Logistics is responsible for leading the operational team who operate Worsley's Bunbury Port Facility and the Logistics function which is accountable for management of shipping and raw materials movements (rail and trucking) that support the Worsley Refinery in Collie.

Accountabilities

• Lead the Production team by championing South32 Values, Code of Conduct and Care Strategy
• Commit to and promote health, safety and environmental responsibility and sustainability practices
• Develop a culture that fosters and supports diversity and inclusion at all levels
• Manage and optimise the logistics chain, inclusive of integration with Marketing and Joint Venture owners, to support the operation
• Ensure execution of production work strategies in line with the weekly work schedules and minimise any unscheduled work requirements and impacts to shipping windows

About you

You have a passion for building and leading teams and have a track record of creating positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

• Strong background in stakeholder and relationship management
• Proven capability to operate in a complex environment
• Experience in leading and developing diverse teams
• Substantial experience in production activities within the Refinery industry
• Experience in Port Operations, Shipping, Logistics, Supply or Marketing

Qualifications:

Minimum:
• Holds a recognised and relevant trade qualification, university degree or diploma

Preferred:
• A Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Control Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemistry or equivalent
