This is a permanent full-time position.
Key accountabilities
- Provide technical support to the Environment Team, to ensure environment regulatory commitments are met using the compliance systems and processes
- Undertake environmental compliance reporting
- Plan and execute work to meet environmental regulatory commitments and internal requirements
- Maintain compliance with existing approvals and licences, ensuring that all licences remain current, including Environment Protection Licences and Water Licences
- Maintain ISO 14001 certification through review and auditing
- Coordinate internal and external auditing requirements
- Undertake analysis of environmental data to identify trends and focus resources on priority issues

To be considered for the role, you must have:
- Bachelor's degree (Environmental Science / Engineering or similar)
- Experience working in a similar role ideally within the Resources or Heavy Industry sectors
- Auditing experience is highly desirable
- Capable of working with minimal supervision and able to manage priorities
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence internal and external stakeholders across multiple levels
- Improvement focused - identifying leading practice and transferring knowledge
