POSITION SYNOPSIS:
The purpose of this role is to attend to breakdowns and to conduct inspections and execute maintenance tasks on Processing plant, and Auxiliary equipment. Will be required to work shifts if needed.

The purpose of this role is to attend to breakdowns and to conduct inspections and execute maintenance tasks on Processing plant, and Auxiliary equipment. Will be required to work shifts if needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Serious contenders will have a N2 Technical Certificate (Internal) / N3 Technical Certificate (External) with a recognized Millwright trade test and minimum of 5 years' experience as a qualified Millwright in processing plant and auxiliary equipment;
- Valid Code B (08) Driver's license is essential;
- In depth mechanincal and electrical knowledge of conveyors, screens, crushes and pumps is essential;
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic is essential;
- Knowledge of medium voltage reticulation is advantageous;
- Knowledge of Soft starters, Control and Instrumentation and SAP is advantageous;
- Experience as a Proto team member is advantageous.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Interprets and coordinates pre-work with regards to repairs, planned and predictive maintenance;
- Execute all maintenance work in a safe manner;
- Perform lockouts and make the work area safe;
- Test and commission equipment prior to handover;
- Identify and record all subsequent work found during the inspection activities;
- Reporting of events and non-conformances;
- Ensure optimal asset life through application of good maintenance practices.
