POSITION SYNOPSIS:
  • The purpose of the role is to provide onsite co-ordination and compliance to the performance requirements of the Contractor Management System of Work at HMM;
  • Responsible to collaborate and influence key stakeholders, support the short- and long-term Contractor Management strategies, reporting and management of systems and processes.


REQUIREMENTS:
  • Serious contenders will have a Grade 12 together with a National Advanced Certificate in Safety or Business Management and a minimum of 3 years' technical experience in administration or co-ordination activities.
  • Valid Code B Driver's license is essential;
  • Previous experience in similar roles with managing compliance, standards, and processes across an Operation/Function is essential;
  • In depth knowledge pertaining to basic Safety, Legal Requirements and Contractor Management principles to enable risk reduction is essential;
  • Understanding of contractor management first line verification, stewardship and governance is essential;
  • Knowledge of the S32 Contractor Management Standard, Requirements and related Procedures is advantageous.


CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Ensure compliance and governance of the Contractor Management process and standard
  • Develop Contractor Management reports and provide feedback on key metrics
  • Monitor Contractor information to ensure requirements are linked to site access requirements
  • Communicate any risks and ensure appropriate actions are managed in safety systems
  • Ensures that 1st line verification processes for Contractor Management System of Work for on-and off-contract is executed for HMM;
  • Actively support and deliver on the Contractor Management learning content and ensures delivery of the learning framework for Contractor Management System of Work;
  • Maintain Contractor Management systems and databases and continuously assess internal requirements to ensure compliance.
