Reporting to the General Supervisor, Processing Maintenance the Supervisor, Processing Maintenance is responsible for all Process area maintenance activities. This position combines the responsibilities for trades, schedule execution, continuous improvement, and staffing to ensure company standards are maintained.

We are looking for someone with strong organization and planning skills, who has experience with employee relations and has the ability to work well with a team. Interpersonal and communication skills will be vital for success in this role.

You will be a key player in the coordination of quality maintenance and repair of mine equipment to improve availability and reliability of production. You will advise the troubleshooting of equipment failures to resolve root cause and initiate appropriate remedial actions.

Responsibilities :
  • Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
  • Handle daily and weekly work schedules to ensure work is completed on time and on budget
  • Improve employee work performance and efficiency, ensuring quality standards
  • Assist with the development of the schedule and long range plans by providing feedback to the Planner
  • Ensure repair history is accurately detailed as work is performed to ensure backlog accuracy
  • Assist in sourcing and requisitioning supplies, equipment, and services within budgeted guidelines
  • Determine overtime requirements, advise General Supervisor, and allocate accordingly
  • Recommend contractor needs based on load and supervise contractors as required


Qualifications :
  • Valid Journeyperson's ticket, related technical diploma, or engineering degree
  • Minimum three years supervisory or team leading experience
  • Experience in execution, planning, and scheduling of process maintenance work in an industrial setting
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership, resolve issues, and drive accountability
  • Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office Suite® particularly in Excel, Outlook, and Word, training will be provided on Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Training and experience around reliability-centered maintenance
