POSITION OVERVIEW : Reporting to the Site Services Supervisor, the Industrial Millwright will be responsible for various maintenance activities common to a surface hard rock mining and milling operation with particular attention being paid to associated pumping, flow control and general mechanical systems and support equipment used by Site Services.

    • Repair and maintain structures and components of Mount Milligan Site Services facilities.
    • Fabricate product enhancements as required.
    • Actively participate in various safety activities.
    • Perform Preventative Maintenance inspections.
    • Repair equipment in the field or shop.
    • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Clearly write reports detailing work performed and problems found.

    • Must have an Interprovincial Millwright certification.
    • Three plus years' minimum experience, with mining experience preferred.
    • Ability to read and follow blueprints and assembly drawings.
    • Proven safety and attendance record.
    • Must have own tools.
    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products i.e. Word, Excel and Outlook.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds is required.
    • Willingness to work in adverse conditions.
    • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision. While the majority of the work involved will be within the scope of the Millwright trade, Site Services has adopted more of a team approach where employees are responsible for a variety tasks both within and outside what would be customary.

    • This is a camp-based position with a schedule of 7 days' working with 7 days' rest, 12 hours per day or 14 days' working with 14 days' rest, 12 hours per day as determined by the Company.
