Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Civi & Structural Engineer with extensive experience in the Mining and Metals industry. This is an office based position, required to work on sites to support construction as required by the project. Project sites are based in the EMEA region.

Job Objective:
  • Civil and structural design
  • Adhere to HSE Policies and procedures

Key Responsibilities:
  • Under limited direction initiate and develop ergonomic and cost-effective designs.
  • Quantity Takeoffs and estimation.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to ensure that client's objectives are met in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance and take initiative for safety and environmental issues.


Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • Eng. - civil engineering
  • Tech - civil engineering

Desirable:
  • M.Eng - structural engineering
  • Professional registration

Knowledge, skills and experience:
  • 3-year relevant experience
  • Dynamic analysis and design
