YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

  • Provide support and guidance to employees on work-related and employee relations matters;
  • Organize, coordinate, and lead on-site cultural and employee engagement activities;
  • Support Elders' visits and assist with community relations and engagement initiatives;
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources team in day-to-day activities;
  • Offer employee support and counselling services, as appropriate, and facilitate access to additional resources when needed.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • 2-5 years of experience in administrative related work;
  • Experience in Human Resources is an asset;
  • Mining experience is an asset;
  • Strong ability to effectively communicate in Inuktitut and English (Oral and written);
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint;
  • Position reserved for Nunavut Inuit Beneficiary candidates.
