WHAT DOES A FINAL GRADE CALCULATOR DO?

A Final Grade Calculator uses three numbers: your current grade, the grade you want in the course, and the percentage of the course grade assigned to the final exam. It then calculates the exam score needed to reach your goal.

Suppose you currently have 82%, your final exam counts for 30% of the course, and you want to finish with 85%. You would need 92% on the exam:

(82 × 0.70) + (92 × 0.30) = 85

The calculation does not make the exam easier, but it gives you a useful answer before you decide how to spend your study time.
