About us

A key component of the space waves experience is speed, however it's important to note that speed not only speeds up the game but also fundamentally alters how players interpret information. Players can clearly see details when cars drive slowly when the road is broad. More information displays in the same amount of time as speed rises. Small deviations become more risky, objects ahead seem to approach more quickly, and decision-making time is decreased. Thus, speed generates not only operational strain but also cognitive pressure. Players need to become more adept at processing images quickly and refrain from dwelling on a scenario for too long. As they get used to it, they start anticipating instead than reacting. They see buildings from a distance and plan their course in advance rather than waiting for impediments to approach before making a decision. This produces a very distinct feeling of advancement. While seasoned players start to see the whole obstacle sequence as a single movement, novice players often view each obstacle independently. High speed is now thrilling rather than terrifying due to this change. Players believe that everything is moving in time with their skill when they are able to keep a steady trajectory through a fast-paced series of scenarios. One of Space Waves' most important scenes is this one. A significant prize is not necessary for players to recognize their success in the game; merely completing a portion of the course more quickly than previously is sufficient proof. As a result, speed serves as a test of talent as well as a challenge, allowing players to see how their skills evolve over time.
