Responsibilities:
- Complete and supervise geologic research, data compilation, mapping, sampling, geologic interpretation, 3D modelling, drill program design and execution including RC and core logging. Geologic work
- Projects have clear and appropriate decision points that are adhered to, are completed on time and on budget and require minimal supervision by senior staff
- QAQC procedures are in place and adhered to
- Designs follow-up work plans, prepares and assists in preparation of annual budget materials
- Rapidly communicate significant events to senior management
- Completes monthly progress reports
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field required
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in mining/mineral exploration required
- Possess a high level of organization and attention to detail, ability to adapt to changing priorities required
- Familiarity with logging diamond core and RC chips preferred
- Familiarity with Leapfrog and Acquire software preferred
- Basic understanding of software architecture, data storage concepts, and system development methodologies required
